When three separate bets are combined into a multi bet, the odds are multiplied together. Say the odds on three markets are 1.50, 1.60 and 1.70. Multiplied: 1.50 × 1.60 × 1.70 = 4.08 (approximately). On a ৳100 stake, total return would be ৳408 — but all three selections must win. If any one loses, the full ৳100 is lost.
The appeal of a multi bet is the chance of a larger return from a small stake, but the risk is equally higher.
Odds Shift the Moment a Wicket Falls
In-play or live betting means placing bets while the match is in progress. Every event in cricket — a wicket, a six, or a no-ball — affects the odds immediately.
